A 100 zlotych tax stamp from the Kościuszko Uprising, 1794, Series A, with a 4-digit serial number: 4214 (rarer than the 5-digit version)
A natural piece in very good condition with vivid colors, without any watermark elements in the paper. The letters “B S”—a chemical security mark—are clearly visible on the banknote, as are a legible dry seal and the very clearly visible signatures of the three commissioners and J. Gaczkowski. J. Kleka and A. Michałowski, each executed in a different type of ink.
A very nice piece; its condition is confirmed by the corresponding PMG grading note, though in our opinion, this grading is too strict for this banknote.
