A 10 zlotych tax stamp from the Kościuszko Uprising, 1794, Series C, with a 5-digit serial number: 32121
A natural-looking banknote with a beautifully preserved “ribbed” texture of handmade paper, featuring a very attractive appearance enhanced by, among other things, the paper’s natural, cream-colored hue and the exceptional print quality (high-contrast printing). Visible on the banknote are the letters B S—the chemical security mark—a clearly legible dry stamp, and the clearly visible signatures of the two commissioners, M. Pągowski and T. Staniszewski.
An attractive piece, with its condition confirmed by a solid PMG grading score. The left edge of the banknote is the edge of the sheet of paper used for printing, hence its natural irregularities.
