Closed hilt, steel frame. Basket hilt, perforated with seven round holes. The rear part of the shield ended with a small shaft. In the upper part of the basket a slot for a sling. The edges of the basket reinforced with a shaft. Wooden shaft, cross-notched and covered with black leather. The cap is long, with cheekpieces, attached together with the shaft by a ring at the hilt, riveted from the top with the shaft of the head on an oval pad. Cheekpieces with a transverse rivet. On the back, outer side of the basket a beaten signature "C. JURMANN/1849." The hilt is polished, with a slight curvature, profiled on both sides, with a sill and a single dorsal furrow, extending to a double-edged feather with a bone. The neck is symmetrical. On the inner sill a beaten signature "C. JURMANN", on the outer one "1849". P o c h w a s metal, with a flat back, two riffles with movable butt caps, a profiled neck fixed at the mantle with two rivets and an asymmetrical side spur. On the inner side, under the neck, a beaten signature "C. JURMANN/1849." One minimal dent on the mantle.
