The Melancholic Macarena work presented at auction refers to a text by Maxim Bogdanovich, one of the giants of Belarusian poetry, and is a very unique object. Embroidered with black threads, the letter on a simple and rough canvas, with intentionally left, somewhat clumsy loops, is meant to draw our attention to a universal and ever-present theme - who are we, where do we come from and where are we going?
