Roman Solski (Lodz 1957) - graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Lodz in 1977. From 1977 to 1982, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Department of Sculpture in the studio of Prof. Stanisław Kulon (year I-II) and in the studio of Prof. Tadeusz Łodziany (year III-IV), under whose direction he defended his diploma in the discipline of sculpture in 1983. At the same time, he obtained an annex to his diploma in the discipline of painting under the direction of Prof. Ludwik Maciąg. After graduation, he took up a teaching position as a sculpture lecturer at the State High School of Fine Arts in Lodz and at the School of Theater and Film Techniques (1987-1988). The main theme of his art is the female nude, captured synthetically.
