The two female allegories designed in the appearance corresponding to the continents, with necklace and crown of spikes and with leaf hat and braided plait respectively, each with drapery. The plinths have a chased round base in gray marble with a brass plate engraved with "L'AFRIQUE" and "L'AMERIQUE". The designation for America is erroneous, as this is an allegory of Asia.
