Aneta Śliwa
Born on November 5, 1990, in Kraków. She graduated from the Józef Czapski State General School of Fine Arts in Kraków, specializing in visual advertising. Participant in a six-month Erasmus scholarship program in Italy at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Lecce. Graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Department of Sculpture. She completed her diploma project in the studio of Prof. Bogusz Salwiński in 2014, for which she received an honorable mention from the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Kraków. She was awarded the Rector’s Scholarship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in the 2012–13 and 2013–14 academic years for her high academic performance and achievements in the department. She is interested in ceramics, small-scale sculpture, as well as drawing and painting. The main themes of her work are the human world and the nature that surrounds it, the forces of nature, and psychological and sociological themes. She has participated in numerous open-air workshops and exhibitions both in Poland and abroad. She currently teaches art to children and adults.
