Alessandro Sabong, Truth, born in 1990, is a first-generation Roman and began his career as a writer.  In 2015, he passed the admission test at the Scuola d’Arte della Zecca dello Stato, where he graduated.
His iconographic and conceptual references are based in writing but are closely linked to classical and Renaissance imagery, which in all forms populates the streets, squares, palaces and alleys of Rome.
The rhetoric of the degradation of the suburbs leaves room for the real experience of someone who, as a young boy, began to confront and connect two universes with an imagery so multifaceted and luminous that it can no longer be contained and expressed only in the finite lines of a Throw-Up.
