Wladyslaw Karol Szerner (Przybienice 1870 - 1936 Wośniki) - Polish painter. His father was the painter Władysław Szerner. After graduating from high school, he went to Munich, where from October 1888 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts under Johann Caspar Herterich, Gabriel Hackl and Wilhelm von Diez. At the same time, he was a student at the local Technical University, where he studied agronomy. His favorite motifs in his paintings are horses and idyllic genre scenes. From 1894 he exhibited at the Warsaw Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, and his works were also shown at exhibitions organized by the Krakow and Lviv Societies of Friends of Fine Arts. He repeatedly created copies of his father's paintings, signing them by adding "iun" or "jun" (junior).
