Subjective description of the drawing:
Quiet this palace... It says nothing... It does not shout... And yet it has seen so much! Those human tragedies, ending lives, feuds and disputes of those who trampled its interior. And he remains silent. Proudly standing, surpassing others with his stature, he seems strong and confident. But inside there is a piercing silence... Only the hulking wind stumbles over neglected artifacts and tries to make a voice, but is unable to. He can't... No one can see the suffering....
About the Artist:
After artistically studying graphic design at the Olivier-de-Serres school in Paris, followed by illustration at the Art-Déco school in Strasbourg, he joined medieval show business as a musician, which helped revive his imagination and his growing fascination with dreamy atmospheres. After a few years, he threw himself full-time into the adventure of art. He has participated in many art fairs and had the opportunity to exhibit his work abroad (England, Portugal, Brazil, USA).
He works mainly graphically: with pencil or pen. His inspiration clearly comes from the old masters of engraving, but also from contemporary illustrations. He does not want his subject matter to be clearly defined, but rather an open enactment of symbols and archetypes referring to the collective unconscious, which the viewer must grasp and construct for himself the narrative of the work, like a treasure hunt; even if the artist has his own version.
