The independent artist studied in Paris from 1961. In Nice he became acquainted with the "Nouveaux Realistes". From then on, he worked successfully as a freelance artist in France. As a representative of object and action art, he was involved in the creation of Viennese Actionism together with Hermann Nitsch in 1962.
His participation in the Sâo Paulo Biennial in 1969 brought him to the attention of the international public. 1970 Participation in the Venice Biennale.
