Paula Staniec, born in Tarnow, permanently associated with Krakow. She discovered her passion for painting two years ago intensively creating ever since. Her paintings end up in private collections both in Poland and abroad.
In her work she explores alternative worlds, dreamlike and post-apocalyptic spaces - saturated with emotion, symbolism and an atmosphere of understatement. He is currently focusing on an original series entitled Wandering. It is a story about two young protagonists traversing mysterious, often dark lands. Scenes full of chaos and traces of transience become a metaphor for loneliness, search and life choices. Although the paintings carry a shadow of uncertainty, they also breathe hope - they encourage reflection and the courage to follow one's own path.
Her works are an invitation to another dimension - subtle, sometimes disturbing, but always open to the viewer's interpretation.
