acrylic, canvas, 50 x 70 cm, signed p.d.: M.Adamczyk
Monika Adamczyk (born 1990) - graduated from the University of Economics in Poznan. Initially she started with pencil work, which enabled her to learn the basics necessary to create art. She has long been interested in color psychology. Beginning to paint, she was anxious to pour the knowledge she gained onto the canvas, resulting in colorful, energetic paintings. The artist, using specific color combinations, knows perfectly well what emotions she wants to evoke in the viewer.
In her work, she focuses on simplicity of form, reducing the number of elements to the bare minimum, which allows her to express deep emotions and reflections. In her paintings she strives to capture the essence of form, color and space. She creates compositions full of calm, concentration and inner balance, which in a world full of excess stimuli become an act of conscious tranquility. In her work she strives to capture the essence of emotion and the relationship between shape and background.
Her works are created out of a need for tranquility and contemplation, and are reflections on everyday life and passing moments. By dispensing with the excess of pictorial elements, she allows what is truly important to resound.
She draws inspiration from nature, everyday observations and emotions, which she tries to pour onto the canvas. She treats painting as a form of personal expression and a way to capture moments that often escape notice in the daily rush.
In 2024, the artist had the opportunity to present her paintings at the summary exhibition of the 46th Review of Artistic Creativity, organized by the Center for Culture and Art in Konin.
Painting is a passion for her, to which she devotes herself completely. In addition to painting, she is also interested in the history of art, which helps her in the search for her own artistic language.
The artist paints with acrylic paints on canvas.
