Biography
Visual artist whose work oscillates between surrealism, pop art and abstraction. Inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, Yves Tanguy, Yves Klein and Marian Konarski, he creates works that combine dynamic form, organic shapes and bold use of color. The artist's work is an exploration of the relationship between space, form and emotion, balancing on the border between figuration and abstraction. His works can be interpreted as a dialogue between reality and the subconscious, inspired by both classic painting and contemporary visual language. The artist likes to describe his style as "Figurative Abstractionism." His works are characterized by fluid, dreamlike compositions reminiscent of landscapes not of this world, in which both influences of surrealism and synthetic, cartoonish style are evident. He often reaches for intense, monochromatic color patches and experiments with texture and technique. In painting, he mainly moves in a dynamic, psychedelic style and conceptual art. His works are in private collections in Poland, the United States (Florida, California) and Germany, among others. In April 2020, a skateboard video featuring him titled "if you don't skate don't start" came out, which garnered more than half a million views. In September of the same year, he became a graduate of New Media Art at PJATK, and on 10/10/2020 his first solo exhibition "Ignorance is stagnation" took place. In 2024 he defended his master's thesis at the Higher Institute of Technology.
