Biography
The painter works in her own technique of combining acrylic and oil with charcoal, oil pastel and shag metal on canvas. At the center of her work is light, its rhythm, the viewer (outlined figures) and energy. Everything builds the structure of the painting and the emotional message. She creates expressive compositions depicting the human figure, often a woman captured in motion. The paintings are inspired by nature, the motif of water and man's relationship with space and his own interior. Characteristic of her paintings is the layering of texture and luminous, scattered points that give the works depth and dynamism. The artist seeks and captures moods in order to share what is moving and worth keeping. Her works have a personal and introspective dimension. They are a record of emotions, states and experiences that, despite their individual character, are familiar to the viewer.
