One of the first Riga groszy coins minted for Poland.
A rare, early type featuring the coats of arms of Poland and Lithuania on the obverse, which, later that same year, were replaced by the large coat of arms of Riga. Iconographically similar to the extremely rare type of trojaks from this year, which our specialist— Marcin Żmudzin—has written about.
A very nicely preserved piece with a slight sheen on the background.
