A very nicely preserved Saxon quartertalar, sporadically listed on the auction market.

Lots of preserved mint luster, excellent details.

Definitely above average presence.

Obverse: half-figure of a ruler in armor, holding a sword, to the right, in the outer rim the legend:
IOHAN:GEORG:D:G-DVX SAX-IVL-CLIV:ET MONT;

Reverse: in the pearl rim a five-field shield of arms, on its sides initials H-I, in the outer rim legend:
