The work is part of an open painting series from 2021 - Heavenly Portraits. A female figure with the head of a dove stereotypically calm, in a static pose sits in the middle of a flock of landing pigeons. Contrary to popular belief that the pigeon is a symbol of peace - in the animal world the pigeon is a predator, waging merciless, deadly duels within its species.
The artist designs and creates unique clothing, set design elements and interiors. She paints in acrylic technique and makes drawings with crayons, in her paintings these techniques intermingle.
