Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, received her diploma in 1984
in the Gravure Studio under Prof. Andrzej Pietsch and Lithography under Prof. Włodzimierz Kunz. In 1994, she completed postgraduate studies in Conservation of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Faculty of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology. The artist has received numerous awards, including, among others, the Best Graphic of the Month Competition, the ZPAP OK Board Award "Golden Frame" in the "Small Format" competition, or 2nd prize in the XX Premio Firenze. She has had an impressive number of solo and group exhibitions in Poland, France, Denmark, Holland, Spain or Italy. Her works are in collections all over the world.
The painting "Moon Boy" invites, not directly, to the magical world of Krakow's bohemians, regulars of clubs and bars, where the painter met and befriended "Bibi", whose figure is featured in the painting. The poetically melancholic atmosphere of the work punishes us to stop and reflect on the beauty lost in the hustle and bustle of events.
