Signed, dated, described on the back: MAREK JERZY/ PALUCH/ ,,S.P,,-XLIV" 2024.
Obtained his diploma in 1983 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, in the studios of prof.
Andrzej Strumiłło and Prof. Tadeusz Brzozowski. He is a member of the Union of Polish
Artists of the Krakow District (ZPAP) and the Jasień Art Group. His
works he has presented at numerous national and international exhibitions, including in Europe,
North America and Asia.
Paluch creates compositions maintained in the geometric abstraction trend, using
a variety of materials and techniques. His works often take the form of spatial objects,
balancing between painting and sculpture. Characteristic for them is a precise
relationship of forms and the dialogue carried out with the environment.
For the artist, the creative process - exploration, experimentation and analysis of structure - is a value
in itself. His realizations do not reproduce reality, but create new arrangements and new
meanings, transforming the found order into an autonomous, artistic space.
