Karl Sagmeister (1880 - 1934) Associated with the Munich art community, the artist and landscape painter for whom mountains were an important subject of works. Painted in an impressionistic manner, the views frequent on the antiquarian market show his good workshop training. They are painted energetically and impressionistically - probably as studies from nature, as indicated by their small size.
