Painter, printmaker and poet - a student of the School of Wood Industry in Zakopane and the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where in 1901-1906 he studied under Florian Cynk, Jozef Mehoffer, Jan Stanislawski and Stanislaw Wyspianski. After his studies, he lived and worked in Krakow, and in 1909 opened a studio there for "artistic and decorative painting." In 1908 he traveled to Chicago. He exhibited his works in ongoing exhibitions at the Cracow TPSP, solo exhibitions in Lvov (1906 and 1914) and in Warsaw. He was an extremely versatile artist. He practiced easel and monumental painting, printmaking, woodcarving and designed textiles. He is the author of several poems and the drama "Happiness." In painting, he most often used his favorite technique, pastel, and in printmaking, lithography. He created portraits, landscapes, religious compositions, painted flowers and plants in decorative arrangements, stylized under the clear influence of Wyspianski. He designed cartons for stained glass windows, and was involved in decorative wall painting (polychrome of the parish church in Niedźwiedz, Limanowa district).
