Biography
A graduate of the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 2005, he received a foreign scholarship to study at Hogeskole in Oslo, Norway, where he focused on installation art and drawing. In 2005 and 2006, he participated in group exhibitions organized by the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań at the Aula Gallery. In 2006, together with Honza Zamojski, he presented an installation at the “Liveevil” exhibition at the Plastyfikatory Gallery in Luboń. That same year, he also participated in the “Fun Art” exhibition at the If Museum Inner Spaces Gallery in Poznań. He is a member of the renowned Starter Association in Poznań. He has several interesting projects to his credit. Among the most intriguing is his project to reimagine the “Hollywood” sign—an icon of contemporary culture. As a result of this reinterpretation of the film industry’s symbol, new meanings have emerged, such as “Holocaust,” “Holly-Father,” and “HollySpirit.” The subject of logos, brands, and their significance in mass culture is the central focus of his artistic interests.
