Self-taught painter and printmaker. He gained a high position as a printmaker, working mainly in linocut and autocynography techniques. He was the author of fantastic compositions with rich ornamental design, depicting, in the author's intention, the cosmic beauty and order of the world. He exhibited many times at home and abroad, winning numerous awards. His work is represented in leading museum collections, such as the Museum of Art in Lodz, numerous national and district museums, the Jagiellonian Library and others. In 2004, the "Arcadia" Foundation named after him was established in Lodz to collect, compile and popularize the artist's work. The artist was a lover and collector of jazz music recordings
