Biography
Graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her work focuses on depictions of the female motif. Exploring the place of women in culture and art, the artist explores images of women throughout the ages. She is inspired by themes drawn from the history of painting and contemporary trends in popular culture. It can be said that Anna Mamica's work is a reinterpretation of the Pre-Raphaelite compilation of naturalism and archaism. A faithful and meticulous reproduction of reality is combined in her paintings with the fantasy of events and created characters. The combination of figuration and geometrization defines her own unique and recognizable style. Anna Mamica's art expresses the artist's fascination with female beauty and majesty.
