Untitled, painting medium on panel, 36 x 20.5 cm. She lived from 1922 to 2005 and was a painter, one of the most outstanding representatives of Polish art brut. She began to paint at the age of 40, when she came to the classes of the art group at the Railway Worker's House in Nowy Sącz. She was a person of deep faith, her paintings are mystical in nature. In addition to transcendence, her works also feature everyday themes related to her housing and living situation. Through her paintings she communicated her problems, fears, wrongs suffered from people, feelings of insecurity. Her works are in the most important collections of art brut, including the Collection de l'Art Brut in Lausanne, the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore and the Art & Marges Museum in Brussels.
