Tomasz Sętowski (b. 1961, Częstochowa), "The Chamber of Illusions," 2000s

Biography
A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Higher Pedagogical School in Częstochowa (now the Jan Długosz University). He works in a style known internationally as “magical realism.” He has been active on the American art market since 1998. In 2005, he began collaborating with the New York-based CFM Gallery, where his works are exhibited alongside paintings by Salvador Dalí, Leonor Fini, and Michael Parkes. He also exhibits his paintings in other U.S. cities, including San Francisco and Santa Fe. His work has garnered tremendous public interest. Sętowski’s works (paintings, drawings, and sculptures) were featured in two albums—“The Magic Theater” (2000) and “The Museum of the Imagination” (2003), both published by MUZA S.A. His works have also frequently graced the covers of books, newspapers, posters, and similar publications. The artist creates using traditional techniques and also owns his own gallery.
