Daniel Gromacki
Painter, landscape artist. Born in 1981 in Hajnówka. Graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the Maria Sklodowska-Curie University in Lublin and the Lublin School of Art and Design, majoring in Painting and Gilding Techniques. On his canvases we can find meanders of Podlasie rivers, vast meadows and floodplains, beautiful birches in various guises. This artist's paintings are filled with emotional expression made visible in the texture of boldly laid paint capturing the ever so fleeting play of color and light. He participates in numerous exhibitions and plein-air painting events. He is engaged in creative and pedagogical work.
'Landscape, especially Podlasie landscape fascinates me continuously. In my paintings you can feel the breath of the primeval forest, experience the space of fields and meadows and delight in the wooden architecture of the Podlasie countryside. Very sensitive to the subtle choice of colors, I create an astonishing world seen through the eyes of a colorist.' - Daniel Gromacki
