Biography
The artist is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. After many years of teaching art at all levels of education and serving as an academic lecturer, she taught future educators how to teach art. She also worked as an interior decorator, specializing in decorative techniques for walls and furniture. She currently continues to work, though on a smaller scale, including at the University of the Third Age. She has also returned to easel painting.
In 2022, she received an arts grant for cultural creators from the Mayor of Sopot. Three of her solo exhibitions have been held in that city. Her works have also been featured in solo and group exhibitions in Toruń, Bydgoszcz, Gdynia, and Ciechocinek. The artist’s works are included in numerous private collections in Poland and abroad.
