Dariusz Franciszek Różyc (b. 1978, Sosnowiec), "Beyond the Horizon of a Dream" from the series "Not So Far Away...," 2024

Biography
He graduated from the Bolesław Prus High School in Sosnowiec; the S. Mielczarski Post-Secondary School of Commercial and Visual Advertising in Katowice; and the Faculty of Arts at the Jan Długosz Academy in Częstochowa. He completed his education by defending his thesis in graphic design in the studio of Prof. A. Desperak (2005). Both personally and professionally, he engages in easel and mural painting, designs decorations, and practices photography. He finds inspiration in the paintings of the Impressionists, Surrealists, and Symbolists. Above all, however, he draws inspiration from nature. Exhibitions: 2014—participation in the group exhibition “Apoteoza Muzy” at the University of Łódź Library. 2016—participation in the group exhibition “Spójność różnorodności” at the BroWart Gallery, Wrocław. Participation in national art competitions: 2015: Piotrków Biennale, Bielsko Autumn Biennale, art event: “Three Bridges”; participation in the Fama competition; 7th Still Life Triennial in Sieradz; 2016: Art Confrontations, Warsaw; art event “Three Bridges.”
