A 19th century rapier sword, made in the 17th century style. The weapon has a narrow, straight blade intended primarily for stabbing. The elegant shield is composed of several twisted arches and a protective cup, typical of French rapiers from the early modern period. The handle is decorated with fine engraving and finished with a conical head.
