Obtained her diploma in 1989 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow - Faculty of Painting in the Studio of Prof. Zbigniew Grzybowski; appendix in lithography. She practices painting, sculpture and applied art. She is a member of ZPAP Krakow District, lives and works in Krakow. Participated in many individual and collective exhibitions such as: Historical Need for Nudity, Mandala Theater, Craft Museum in Ustroń; Small Format - Raven Gallery, where she received an honorable mention; Krakow Art Meetings 2017 Configurations Painting Sculpture Drawing, Palace of Art; ZPAP Pryzmat Gallery, Krakow; BWA Olkusz. The artist's works are in many collections.
"A series of reliefs made at the turn of 2020/21, is a search for imagery beyond the traditional plane. The narrative happens by contrasting convex, concave places sometimes twisted in 3D space and sometimes flat, divided by a triangular rhythm of incisions of the starting material, which is cardboard. Attached to these strong undulations of the "sheet" of the painting is the color and light reflections achieved on the outer, metallic shiny layer.
In the Relief series, there are no references to specific biological forms or to the human body as in other, earlier works. Here, my authorial intention is to create a metaphorical mirror, abstractly corresponding to human experiences and emotions. The dynamic undulations and twists, together with the color used as a carrier of emotions, fight battles about what happens to us; when the lighting changes, the visual perception of the relief changes. At dusk an element, hidden during the day, will flood unexpectedly. The object rolls its narrative."
