Painter. Member of ZPAP. She was born in St. Petersburg (her mother was a Georgian painter using the pseudonym Stano Gae). After spending several years of her childhood in Warsaw, she moved to Paris, where she studied at the Ecole de Beaux-Arts. In the 1920s she exhibited works (portrait studies) under the pseudonyms Bronna Stach and S. Bronna. Since 1930 she lived in Warsaw - she participated in both Warsaw and Paris exhibitions. She participated in the Warsaw Uprising ("Kryska" grouping). After the war, she worked in the Ministry of Culture and Art and in the Main Board of ZPAP (she was vice-president in 1968-69). Her work includes themes related to the war and the post-war reconstruction of the country, as well as landscapes from her numerous trips abroad. She actively participated in Polish artistic life especially in the 1950s and 1960s, as evidenced by her participation in more than 170 exhibitions. She was honored with numerous awards and national decorations.
