Film program ALARM 1951
"The content of the film covers the crucial years of the last war for the history of the Bulgarian nation (...) The specific plot focuses on the fate of one family. Through it - as through the whole of Bulgaria - runs a dividing line: on one side - a fascist son, on the other - his sister, together with her husband a brave organizer of factory sabotages and a heroic partisan leader. The old father, a noble "apolitical intellectual only after the ruin of home life begins to understand that the "apolitical" attitude is an absurdity, that every man must choose decisively his place on earth...."
