The sculpture was entirely hand-formed from dense art glass using advanced glassmaking techniques (including Sommerso-style color layering and freehand forming).Bird’s body: Crafted in a deep, rich ruby red that contrasts beautifully with the transparent outer layer. The impressive, tall tail—proportional to the bird’s silhouette—and the delicately sculpted crest and beak shimmer with warm shades of amber and honey gold. Subtle particles are embedded in the glass mass, creating a striking refraction of light.Gold leaf in the glass (Aventurine / Polvere d’oro): Particles of genuine 24-karat gold leaf are embedded within a colorless, organic glass mixture . This traditional Venetian technique creates the effect of shimmering glass dust, which is the hallmark of the master glassworks of Murano.
