The hilt closed, steel frame. Basket hilt, perforated in geometric figures. Rear arm with two slots for a sling, ending with a scroll towards the head. Handle shaft wooden, cross-notched, wrapped in leather. Cap long with cheeks, attached by a ring at the hilt, riveted at the top with the mandrel of the head. Cheeks riveted. The steel hilt, polished, with a small curvature, profiled on the outer side in one deep medial groove. Long, double-edged blade with a boney, symmetrical hilt. On the outer sill the manufacturer's signature is beaten - the year "1862" and "CC". Steel butt with neck and two riffles. The upper riffle without a butt, with a horizontal catch on the inner side, the lower one with a fixed butt on the back of the scabbard.
