Hussar sabre for officers

Wide, single-edged, slightly curved blade with shallow cut on both sides (resharpened). Short dorsal blade and dorsal point. Decorated with geometric decoration on the upper part. On the spine inscription 'MARIA MATER DEI PATRON HUNGARIA...'. Brass set, the guard arch decorated with embossed beads, cross guard, pommel and back with simple decoration. Wooden handle wrapped with string and covered with brown leather, one decorative rivet. Wooden scabbard of very good quality covered in leather (possibly original), richly embossed solid brass plate fittings which also cover the edges of the scabbard. Wooden scabbard of very hight quality covered in leather (likely original), massive brass fittings with elaborate embossed decoration, covering even the edges of the scabbard.
