Matthew Lewandowski, Syny/sny

Acrylic on canvas, 40x30 cm

In a dazzling fabric full of vibrant colors, this captivating work resounds with a joyous chorus of nameless figures. Each silhouette, shrouded in boldly intense colors, sings a silent symphony, blending the playful with the profound. The work boldly flirts with the energy of pop art, while tenderly musing on abstraction, giving it a unique character.

The canvas pulsates with life, each form adorned with puzzling symbols - a joyful puzzle for the astute eye. The kaleidoscopic mix of pinks, oranges, blues and greens creates a vivid play of contrasts that defies the monotony of the form, while uniting them into a harmonious unity. This dance of silhouettes and symbols brings to mind a whimsical gathering, captured in a moment of pure, unfettered artistic euphoria. Here, abstraction meets joyful chaos, inviting the viewer into a world where each glance reveals a new, playful secret.

Mateusz Lewandowski
Before he started painting he created analog photography and sculpted. He is currently a single dad of a cat, and in his free time he rides his bike or paints. In his paintings he combines the aesthetics of urban space with pop'art and Pollock. He is inspired by everything from the scribbles he encounters every day on switchboxes to psychedelic pictograms. He uses spray or marker more often than a paintbrush.
