Pendulum in the Louis XVI style

Paris, early 19th century.
Functions: Lock plate striking mechanism on bell on the hour and half hour. Date display. Winding holes above the 4 and the 8. À jour gilt hands for hours and minutes, hands for the date. One sun pendulum and one key present. Not tested for functionality.
Case: Rectangular marble base resting on pressed gilt ball feet with gilt relief inlay. Glazed case in architectural design with fluted pilasters, textile festoons and stepped round-arched pediment with pearl band decoration and crowning with truncated columns and foliage.
Dial: White enamel with black Arabic hours and minutes, dot indices and red days. (14201818) (13))
