Mieczkowski made stereoscopic photographs twice, the first time in 1862 making 40 views of Warsaw and in 1864 making additionally 60 views of Warsaw, in total there were 100 stereoscopic views of Warsaw by J. Mieczkowski. The photographs were highly acclaimed, hence all the vignette variants we know of are 5. Often, as single images, his photographs are attributed to K. Beyer.
