Jerzy Nowak [1923-2013] - Polish theater and film actor, director, educator. He entered the history of Polish theater primarily with the role of Hirsz Singer, in the play Ja jestem Żyd z Wesela (I am the Jew from The Wedding ), played continuously since 1994 . In films, he was cast most often in supporting roles of characteristic characters (Jews, Gestapo men) . He created a great creation as Zucker in the film"Promised Land" , directed by Andrzej Wajda.
