Biography
Stanislaw Brach was born in 1972 in Gorlice.
Since 2010 he has been an assistant professor at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, heading the Ceramics Studio. In 2014 he was awarded a postdoctoral degree in fine arts from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, and in 2008 he received a PhD. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, graduating
in the atelier of Prof. Marian Konieczny, he received his diploma in 2000. In 1987-93 he was a student at the Ceramic Technical School in Lysa Gora.
In 2014, he was awarded an MKIDN creative scholarship, in 2011 he received the Award of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has participated in many plein-airs and international competitions, including in Italy and Japan. The artist's works are in the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Sculpture of the Polish Sculpture Center in Oronsko, the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, and in private collections.
