Wanda Wedecka (Gomel 1919 - Warsaw 2011) - graduated in 1951 from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun under the direction of Tymon Niesiolowski.She showed her works in individual exhibitions (Kordegarda, 1958; Mazovian Museum in Plock, 1966; University Hall, Ghent, 1967; Gallery d`Art Tamara Pfeiffer, Brussels, 1968) and group exhibitions (XVII All-Poland Exhibition of Fine Arts in Radom, 1961; Painting in the 15th Anniversary of the Polish People's Republic, National Museum in Warsaw, 1961, 1st Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting, Szczecin, 1962). Her paintings are in the collections of the National Museum in Torun and the Mazovian Museum in Plock, among others.
