The sugar bowl was cleaned for many years only from the top by servants, the bottom not necessarily.
Bought from a collector from Lviv.
Beautiful 19th century sugar bowl of box type, supported on four legs in the form of lion's paws. The lid of the sugar bowl is crowned with a dignified guarding lion - also made of silver. The silver is extremely unique, the interior with preserved original gilding.
The value of the sugar bowl is increased by the fact that it is complete and in working order.
Another such beautiful sugar bowl will never appear again.
