Closet of tie-beam construction, cuboidal, with double doors framed by three pilasters (the middle one is the opening strip of the right wing), with 2 drawers at the top, veneered with rosewood, various species of walnut. The crowning cornice prominent, straight, profiled. Panels of the body in the form of rectangular, coffered panels, limited by moldings, with repeated veneer and intarsia decoration. Fluted pilasters with prominent pedestal and head.

Cabinets of this type appeared in the Netherlands around the middle of the 17th century and spread throughout northern and central Europe. Depending on the external divisions and method of decoration, many types are distinguished, not always depending on the place of manufacture, which include Amsterdam, Hamburg, Lübeck and Danzig closets. They were expensive, prestigious furniture, placed in the representative rooms of the townhouses of the wealthy bourgeoisie, called great hallways, as well as in palaces and more distinguished landed manors.
