Miniature yoroi armor, styled after traditional armor from the Mutsu region

Although much smaller than full-size armor, it is equipped with all its traditional elements: kabuto helmet complete with kuwagata horns and decorative maedate jewel, menpo mask, dō armor, epaulettes, epaulettes and even special boots. There was also a wooden display stand and a lacquered and gold-decorated box for storing the armor.
The miniature is styled after traditional armor from the Mutsu region of Japan. A plaque affixed to the armor bears the name "陸奥" (Mutsu). Additional marks on the plate, such as "京" (Kyoto), "組" (team or group) and "立" (established or created), suggest that the item was created in Kyoto by a team of craftsmen.
On top of the helmet is a jewel (maedate) in the shape of a dragon and kuwagata horns. Both of these pieces are plated in 24K gold. The sides of the helmet are decorated with gilded chrysanthemum flowers. There is also a mask and throat protector (menpo) in brown, with a distinctive mustache and teeth in gold. Another element of the armor is the shoulder protectors (sode), consisting of metal plates connected by cotton cord and decorated at the bottom with chrysanthemum flowers. The armor sleeves (kote) are made of purple silk lining with metal plates. The main armor (dō) also consists of metal plates connected by a golden-orange cord. At the bottom, the armor is also decorated with chrysanthemum flowers. The armor is girded with a silk yoroi obi belt. Below the armor are thigh protectors (haidate) consisting of two panels covered with a purple fabric analogous to the rest of the elements and connected by a gold and greenish lampas decorated with floral motifs. All of the armor's weaving is done by hand and follows all the rules for real full-size armor, which must have been quite a challenge to create. The epaulettes (suneate) are decorated with orange cotton straps, which in full-size armor would tie the protector to the leg; the protruding part at the top of the protector would protect the knee and thigh. The final piece is the boots (tsuranuki) finished with silk multicolored cord.
The armor is stored in a specially designed wooden box, which serves a protective and display function, following the tradition of storing full-size armor.
The signature on the plate attached to the armor, 峰月 ("Minegetsu" or "Hōgetsu"), indicates the name or pseudonym of the artist-craftsman or creative group responsible for making this beautiful piece, emphasizing its authenticity and provenance.
A certificate accompanies the armor, further confirming its quality and ensuring that it can be repaired or maintained in case of damage.
