Jacek Maślankiewicz was born in 1955. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he studied, among others, in the studio of Professor Rajmund Ziemski.
The artist has received numerous awards, for his works, and in 2013 he was awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage with the Honorary Badge "Meritorious for Polish Culture". He has participated in 46 solo exhibitions and 229 group shows in art galleries and museums around the world
