Hand-carved and painted wooden marionette depicting an itinerant minstrel with a lute. The puppet is dressed in a traditional folk costume, including a woolen cap, doublet, embroidered apron and clogs, which underlines the character's historical character.The musical instrument slung over the shoulder refers to the role of a bard or troubadour.
