"Signed Out - Blower".

Signed on the reverse

The presented composition is an extremely apt and at the same time moving metaphor of contemporary society - people "logged out" from everyday life, relationships and their own presence. The artist builds the entire painting from hundreds of microscopic figures, which together create the delicate form of a blowfly - a symbol of lightness, transience, freedom, but also the dispersion and transience of human existence.

It is this multi-layered symbolism that is the greatest strength of the work. The seemingly minimalist composition reveals to the viewer an extremely rich world of micro stories. Each of the tiny silhouettes makes a different gesture, is in a different movement, creates its own narrative - but together they build one organic structure, resembling a pulsating social fabric.

The central motif of the inflatable here becomes a metaphor for modern man - distracted, carried away by the pace of life, technology and information chaos. Some figures still remain part of the whole, while others have already flown away, losing contact with the center of the composition. It's a subtle but extremely topical story about loneliness in the crowd, the need for community and the simultaneous distancing from each other.

A huge asset of the work is also its execution. The artist achieves an impressive visual effect through precise, almost jewel-like detailing. Hundreds of miniature figures create a mesmerizing structure, which changes with the distance of observation - up close, the viewer discovers the individual figures and their emotions, while from a further perspective, the whole thing turns into a subtle, almost ethereal form of a wind-blown dandelion.

The minimalist background further enhances the message of the work, directing all attention to the rhythm, movement and energy hidden in the composition. As a result, the painting has a unique visual lightness, and at the same time a very strong emotional and intellectual charge.

This work perfectly fits into the trend of contemporary figurative-symbolic art, combining the aesthetics of minimalism with a deep analysis of the human condition in the 21st century. The work has clear collector potential - both because of the originality of the concept and the highly distinctive, instantly recognizable artistic language.

Collector and investment value:

  • universal, timeless theme of community and movement
  • strong emotional charge while maintaining a minimalist form
  • exceptional lightness and decorativeness of the composition
  • motif of sport as a symbol of relationships and social integration

Summary

This is a painting that reminds us of something very simple and at the same time most important: get out, move, play, meet - be part of the game that is really happening.

"Logged out" is a painterly invitation:

go out, put down the phone, meet, dance, play.

Monika Libelula - contemporary painting artist

Monika Libelula belongs to the group of contemporary Polish artists whose work grows out of a deep family tradition of art. Her artistic path is not a coincidence - art accompanied her from an early age, and prominent personalities connected with painting and art conservation were present in her family.

One of her aunts participated in the restoration of the frescoes in the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican, a place considered one of the most important masterpieces of world painting. The second of the artist's relatives won first prize in a European portrait painting competition during the communist era, which at the time was a great honor and confirmation of the high artistic level.

Growing up in such a strong artistic environment had a huge impact on Monica Libelula's development. Her work is characterized by sensitivity to color, subtle narration and the ability to build the atmosphere of a painting. The artist readily draws on motifs taken from nature, everyday life and emotional observations of the world, creating compositions of a poetic and reflective nature.

In her works, Libelula primarily uses the technique of acrylic painting and watercolor, often building the image in layers, with great attention to detail and light. Her paintings appear at contemporary art auctions and in gallery sales, where they attract the attention of collectors looking for an authentic, personal painting statement.

Monika Libelula's work exemplifies a harmonious combination of artistic tradition handed down in the family and an individual, contemporary painting language, thanks to which her works are gaining a recognizable character and increasing public interest.
