Painter, graphic artist, interior designer. Educated at the Industrial School in Cracow, from where he went to Vienna, where he continued his studies at the Kunsgewerbeschule and the Österreichisches Museum für Kunst und Industries. He supplemented his studies with S. Wyspianski and T. Axentowicz at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, and in 1904-1905 in Paris. In England he studied interior design. He is the creator of numerous polychromes and stained glass windows. In 1904-1908, together with W. Tetmajer, he worked on polychromy in the parish church in Sosnowiec. He practiced easel painting, most often taking up landscape subjects.
